The extraordinary story of EMMA Safety Footwear starts with the miners of State Mine EMMA. Now, 93 years later, around 1,000 people worldwide work on our products every day. A special employment that we want to preserve sustainably.
Within its sustainability programme, EMMA works on fair working conditions and minimum risks in the supply chain, reducing its CO2 emissions in its chain and using recycled materials and ‘healthier’ materials with a lower footprint. EMMA is also a co-founder of the Green Gear Alliance, an alliance that focuses on return logistics, dismantling and reprocessing of worn safety footwear.
Are you up to the challenge of sparring with us about EMMA’s circular safety footwear? We would love to take you on a journey to a world where waste becomes raw material. Would you like to know what sustainable steps EMMA Safety Footwear has already taken so far? Can we join forces to make changes for a better future?
Since early 2020, EMMA Safety Footwear has been part of Hultafors Group AB, an international company with several brands specialising, among other things, in personal protective equipment.
